Weight of the Container
Your state has regulations on how much weight can be pulled on a trailer on municipal roads. This weight will include the weight of the trailer it rides on. If you are getting a smaller container then this might not be an issue. However, you need to check with the State Department of Transportation to check the limits. Consider that an aluminum trailer weighs much less than a steel trailer. This means you can have a heavier container shipped.

You will need to choose between having a crane come out to your place to lift the container from the trailer and place it where you want it or making sure the trailer can tilt and slowly dump the container off. Of course, if you do not have a lot of space for the large truck and trailer to maneuver in your yard, you should use a crane. The truck and trailer can pull up to the house, staying on the street, and then the crane can lift it off and carefully place it where you want it.
